Supporting learning in Timbuktu

We are grateful for the support of Hay Town Council, The Hay Festival and the other twinning groups in Hay (medics4timbuktu,  hay2timbuktu).  These groups help us enourmously when planning trips to Timbuktu - in fact getting there without their collaboration would be almost impossible!  We have had a long relationship with a wonderful educational charity called iEARN (International Education and Research Network).  We are helped by iEARN's representatives in both the UK and Mali.  Living Earth Foundation is an international sustainable development charity currently working in over ten countries around the world.  They work in partnership with all sectors of society - communities, government and private sector - to build the capacity to enable communities to develop their own solutions to the development and environmental challenges that they face.  Wastetechnique (Wastetechnique.co.uk) are helping us in our plans to develop a computer room in Yehia Alkaya school.
