Gwernyfed High School students have been involved in making an arts documentary with Indus films for BBC Wales and travelled to Timbuktu in February 2009.  The BBC website can be found here .  The focus  was on creative writing and the sixth form pupils were mentored by local author, Tom Bullough.  The students also participated in a talk in the Hay Festival in May 2009 along with medics4timbuktu.  We are also trying to bring teachers over to the UK so they can support us by enriching our Education for Sustainable Development and Global Citizenship and our French and we can support their English skills.
