We are linked with two secondary schools in Timbuktu.  Second Cycle Yehia Alkaya Ibrahim has about nine hundred pupils in classes of about 90 pupils.  Pupils stay in this school until they pass the entry exam for the Lycee or they leave school. There are no computer facilities.  The Lycee is the best equipped of all schools.  There is a computer suite with a 56 kbs connection where teachers from all schools in Timbuktu can send and recieve e-mails.  Both schools are twinned with Gwernyfed High School and have been visited by our teachers.  The resources provided for the schools are chosen by local teachers with the Lycee's Director of English, Mr Mahamoudou Djitteye, co-ordinating how we can best meet needs.
